La Viola are currently sweating over Adrian Mutu's future at the club as they still haven't managed to renew the player's current deal.
Reports in Italy claim that Mutu is demanding too high a wage packet which could see the Viola refuse to succumb to his demands and ultimately see him put up for sale.
Milan and Schalke have been linked with the hit-man. The Rossoneri are desperate for a striker but Braida insists is that Mutu is not the answer they are looking for to solve their striking conundrums.
“Lets forget about all these rumours, they are all ridiculous and there is nothing true about them,” Braida told Fiorenzaviola.it.
Milan are currently in the process of trying to lure Emanuel Adebayor from Arsenal but so far any progress seems to have stalled as the Gunners play hard ball over their Togolese striker.
