Perfectionist Guardiola Eyeing Wisla Tie

The Blaugrana boss was pleased with the creative display that saw the Major League Soccer team brushed aside, but he could not help considering why his defence had been breached.

Samuel Eto'o's impressive pre-season form continued with a brace, while Xavi, Rafa Márquez, Jeffren and Pedro all netted in the 6-2 win in Giants Stadium.

"We have scored six goals and we have created a ot of chances and that gives you a feeling of security," Guardiola said.

"But I still have concerns because we conceded two goals again."

Barcelona will face Polish side Wisla Krakow in the Champions League preliminaries and the coach is hoping that the Catalan club's fans can create an atmosphere in the first leg at Camp Nou next week.

August is traditionally the month when things close down Catalunya and all the locals head away for their holidays, but Guardiola remains hopeful that many will head back for the game.

"It will be a complicated tie, but I hope that a lot of people come down and that the stadium is full," he added.
