
However, the Spaniard is pleased with the strength he has in his squad as he managed to introduce Yossi Benayoun, who went on to win the game with a fantastic solo effort late on in the second half.
"You cannot say that the performance was really good,"
"But especially the first half we had control of everything and created chances.
"In the second half, we needed to change things and we used Benayoun and Andrei Voronin to try and keep the ball. Benayoun, between the lines, was a key player for us.
"The difference between one or two years ago is that we have more players with quality and they can change games.
"The team has the balance and defends well. We are attacking well too and that is the key."
