Terry Have Injuryed

The club confirmed that Terry has been taken to hospital, but was not concussed and is expected to be released tomorrow after a clash with Fulham striker Clinton Dempsey in the first half of their goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.

Terry played on until half-time when he was substituted by coach Avram Grant. It is understood Terry will have a plate fitted into his cheekbone.

It is unclear how long the defender would be out for, but he is surely a doubt for England's vital Euro 2008 qualifiers against Estonia and Russia next month.

The blow adds to Chelsea's worries as their loss of form in the league continues, while new boss Avram Grant also saw Didier Drogba sent-off against their West London rivals.
