Roma captain Francesco Totti spoke to reporters following the convincing 3-0 victory away to Parma, which launched the Giallorossi back in second place in Serie A.
He first talked about having surpassed both Roberto Mancini and Gigi Riva in the all-time Serie A goalscorer's charts today.
"Having surpassed two former players of that level is always a great pleasure. The credit also goes to the team which always supports me. Mancini? It's not a derby with him, but I'd like to surpass him in the league standings as well," Totti said.
He also gave his thoughts on this year's Scudetto race: "Roma will compete with Juve, Inter, and Milan until the end. They're all high-quality teams and it will be tough for everyone.
"Fiorentina are an excellent team, but you have to be realistic. In football anything can happen, but they're probably, say, the fifth team in the league. It's normal that we want to win the Scudetto, but we know there are some competitive teams who are at our level."
Asked who he thinks is more decisive between himself and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he answered: "Look at the numbers. I don't know, you decide. I never give personal opinions about these things."
