The Arsenal defender was still reeling after seeing his compatriots embarrassingly beaten at home by Scotland last month, a result which left them third in Group B.
With the Scots still due to go to Italy, Gallas believes that the French can still sneak into the qualifying positions if they win this remaining three fixtures.
"Yes, we will do it. We will be at the Euro 2008 finals," he stated.
"I hope this failure will help us and I also hope Scotland will slip up."
The former Chelsea defender is ready to make his comeback this weekend after missing the last few weeks through injury and he is excited by the prosptec of playing again.
"I am really looking forward to playing again. It's been seven or eight weeks I have been sidelined," he enthused.
"I am ready for Saturday but it will be up to the coach whether I play or not."
